I've had both. A 951S and a Boxster. The Boxster had factory 18" wheels and M030 suspension on Michelin Pilot tyres. That car was frighteningly quick through corners. There were times when I had blasted through a corner, looked down at the speedo and thought "holy snappin ducksh$t". The 951 is a powehouse with a bit of work. It is the better looking of the two and will probably hold its value better too.
I put this '86 together for my lad.
I know, I know it's not a clubsport but the lad liked it and it broke up the white. Actually it fooled a couple of blokes at the Porsche club who asked how many of those were made
Go the 951. Great all round cars.
