I owe you one, Ron. If you ever find yourself in Western Oregon, give me a shout and I'll pour you a home brew. Or if you don't drink, I'll find some thing else to tempt you with.

Yeah, I know about the machined lip on the E-meisters. My plans allow for that.

Stem supports can be added easily and affordably. No issue there.

Maybe it's the glossy paint, maybe it's 30 years of polishing and refinishing, maybe it is that the forging process was not as CAD accurate as the euromeisters 21st century casting process, but for whatever reason, the euromeisters have a more "sterile" quality to them.
Exactly. I suspect you are on target with the forged vs. older casting process. The difference is less pronounced in the 16" than it is in the 17", which (to me) look a tad "off".

I can see where that could be the case, if all 4 were E-meisters. Might be easier to see the difference if you mixed them on the car.

When I looked at the pictures of the car for sale, I see the centers were all black. How did you have them finished originally, Dave?

Interested, but not quite ready to pull the trigger yet. Laying plans for after New Years some time.
