I did some Googling. I found
one post suggesting that VR1 has a ZDDP content of 1300 PPM and Brad Penn has 1400 PPM of ZDDP.
I've read other posts suggesting that high performance and flat tappet motors should have a ZDDP content of at least 1200 PPM.
I'm no oil genius. I know nothing and have no opinion to defend. Please don't beat me up over this - I'm just posting what I found based on some Google results. I blindly use VR1 because it's relatively inexpensive, readily available, and the Internets told me to.
