The seats run on a single pair of wires, + and -.

If they have memory boards, same is true, you just need to figure how to bypass with board in place via wiring diagrams ( I did a long time ago, but forget the details ), or remove the boards and rewire a bit.

Choose your connectors --- or try to adapt between the 2 prong, 6 prong and 14 prong ones that are fitted depending on the seat options and year. But only a hot / ground pair is required to operate them, ultimately, speaking of the motors for the seats.

The bigger problem is that the seat rails dont mate-up. They sit atop each other fine, but the S4 seats dont sit into the hollows of the base mounts on earlier cars.

So the bolts subject to pure shear in a collision. With original seats on mounts they were made for, the seat has to lift to slide in an accident, putting the bolts in more stretch than shear.

As stated, I've done this and wouldn't do it again for that reason, no matter what anybody else says.
