146k is a lot of miles on an engine that has never been opened.
If it has had a topend rebuild, transmission refresh, and tensioner upgrade -- and the headstuds are sound -- it is a smoking deal. If not, you are $7-10k away from a $25k car, which means it is priced about right.
Bargains are out there, but finding a needle in a haystack is not indicative of overall trends.
