I have manual brakes with my v8 swap. You can drill a hole I think about 1/2" or 3/4" above the existing hole for the clevis. I did this to mine and have a very firm feel to my brakes. I like it, although I need to make a firewall reinforcement plate, you get a little flex under extreme braking conditions.
