I heard putting a single light bulb under the hood is enough to keep the temps above freezing.
Supposed to drop to as low as 24° this week.

I use a 40w bulb under a blanket (with airspace - no blanket touching bulb) to keep my well pump from freezing, and we'll hit 20-22 at least two or three times a year and once in a great while 18 or 19. And you thought Florida was hot all the time
