I purchased a stock MIM Strat and ended up modifying just about everything I could. I realized I might as well just cut to the chase and make my own.
The first one was a maple over mahogany PRS shape with PRS humbuckers and a maple/ebony Warmoth neck (SRV shape, SS frets).
The second is a swamp ash tele that is fully chambered (everything in blue is hollow) with Duncan Pearly Gates humbuckers that are wired to be splittable and a maple Warmoth neck with a Gulf Porsche paint scheme. Absolutely a sweet tone on this one.
Last one is a resonator acoustic. Started as a Fender Sonoran and built all the structure and bracing underneath to hold the resonator cones. Channeled out the bridge to lay a piezio pickup in it and now have a very hot humbucker in the neck position. My first attempt at a fade burst finish too.
