I owned a V-rod for less than a year...an impulse buy. Never quite figured out its real purpose. That engine, or a larger displacement version, really should have found its way into their touring bike lineup. Interesting that they're now water cooling their air cooled engines instead...and having issues with pressure leaks. Must be a reason they just didn't go with this proven and more powerful engine. Probably for fashion reasons. Doesn't sound the same (no potato-potato sound, etc).

Have had bike exif bookmarked for years. Really cool site with an incredible flow of stunning and creative bikes of all origins. Enjoy!
