I see this happening. I think it will infiltrate large cities first, and then trickle down to suburbs and eventually just becomes the way things are. As for package delivery and face recognition, how many of you physically accept packages? I never do. Packages are left at my door step typically mid day while I am at work. My neighborhood is safe, and I have never had anything stolen off the porch. I don't see any difference in how this would work. Hell, anyone who I have paypal'd with has my home address and can use google earth to see a 360 degree view of my home... I think that a robot couldn't spot it from 300 feet and accurately get a box on my door step.
