The soreness is from the two bones now grinding on each other in certain positions, like contorted in a 911. It's a 3rd degree separation. That's what the doc on the slopes said from the x-ray and that's what the doc said back at SCOI. The fact that my collar bone is very visible in situations also verifies that. I did the doctor thing after it happened. 3rd degree was said to be an elective surgery injury. Both docs said that if I was a model, it would be a good idea. Both also said that this is common with hockey players and they live life with it. I've also had some nerve issues in my chest from it, but that has subsided over the years. I think the nerves got caught up in some internal scar tissue. It was really painful/burning.

I'm not really looking to fix the problem, but I do wonder if it can be so many years later.
