I'd like to see how you do it. Does your champ have a line out and back in? I don't think the circuit would allow for that.
I have a modern Champ so I don't know what the old ones are like. It has built in electronic reverb but its nothing like the reverb in my SS Princeton Chorus. Which is semi broken.
