Thanks for that critique Petrolhead. Fortunately our A40 was a reliable car and I think we bought it new so did not have the rust issues you had. The picture was taken in the village of Stalham near Norwich, Norfolk(UK). The building across the road was the The Grebe pub. The last house on the left was my grandfather's house who was a saddler(a saddle maker, repaired combine harvest canvas etc). Across the road to the left of the pub was a bakery. In WW2 a German bomber could not find its target so decided to drop a bomb on Stalham and it landed on the bakery killing several people living above the bakery.
