+1 for power seat. I looked at my 85 and couldn't find any wires of the same color running under my seat but I did find a small harness with a black end that went to my power seats. My other thought was possibly something for central locking that someone simply routed to get it out of the way but my harness is round and has about 4 or 5 wires going into it.
86 911 Targa looks to have put pretty conclusive evidence as to what it is. It's odd, I thought my car was supposed to have auto heat. Now I need to start looking more at my ride.
