This Porsche 904 replica has the right look with the right curves and properly widened steel wheels. It is powered by a 1974 Porsche 911 engine punched out to 2.9L with a claimed 330 horsepower at 8500 RPM. .......................

The 6-cylinder looks right at home, and even a wild build of this engine would be much cheaper and more powerful than a 4-cam Carrera engine, so we think this is the right way to go. 330 horsepower might be quite a bit to handle though… can there ever be too much?
