here's some great video work a good buddy in NZ has done, really using the Hero3 features, using dampening camera mounts, and even FPV, first person view with the pilot flying via goggles with his DJI first generation, they have just recently released a Gen II, so the Gen I's went on sale.
Gen II's aren't cheap though, at $1200 with a built in camera so no gopro is needed. Stunning GPS performance and features like Altitude hold, and auto home.

with good flying skills, camera work/angles, and some time on software editing, it's amazing what a simple amateur can produce.
