Thankfully our relationship with my parents has greatly improved. We went nearly 10 years with no visits and maybe 2 calls a year. They live 200 miles away. Now we speak weekly and see them 2-3 times yearly. So happy my kids have the chance to know them.

I'm an only child but my wife has 3 surviving siblings. Two in town and one in TX. We generally do local get together dinners about 2x a month. TX family about 1x a year.
