Just read this whole thread and I don't think I've ever seen anything like it.
You mention you enjoyed unwinding with the car after work; are you sure after it's restored to this museum-quality degree you are going to use it?
I also think I've found my painter from this thread- if YOU are happy with him, I can't think of a higher recommendation.
