Weight makes a bigger difference on a 200 hp car. Your 944 and 928 are close to double that. Even the Boxster had much better power to weight ratio than a old 911. I would like to play with brake balance. I know my rear brakes are working hard because there is a lot of brake dust after an autocross. It would be interesting to see if I could make them work just a bit harder since the tires are bigger and there is more weight back there. I would have to start reading the autocross section of Pelican to really learn about brake balance on a 911.
