Yep, I played with brake balance as well. There are several different stock bias valves. 18, 33, 45, 55, and 60. My 944 turbo, 928GT, and 928GTS came with the 18. 33 was enough for the 944 turbo. 55 for the 928 GT, and I put a 55 in the 928GTS and it is a bit too much i need to back it down to the 45. I assume the 911 bias valve is already higher, but if you want a 55, just get a 45 and I will trade you. The valve has a number stamped in one of the wrench flats denoting which valve it is, ie. 5/18 or 5/33 etc.
Here are the part numbers
Brake Bias Valve 60 bar 965 355 305 01
Brake Bias Valve 55 bar 964 355 305 10
Brake Bias Valve 45 bar 964 355 305 00
Brake Bias Valve 33 bar 928 355 305 02
Brake Bias Valve 18 bar 951 355 305 01
