Garage
A few things are inbound,..such as front seats, dash, gauge panel,,..really misc. pieces of the interior materials.

Sure was nice to see the provided pillar cover materials, ready to go,..as well as the (his) high quality headliner material. These areas are to be covered by a local upholstery shop in GA, and will be whomever John Holt (Painter) chooses. I'm with John, period. Don't know who nor how much just yet....just stuff to be done to make the interior complete. Interestingly enough to have stripped her guts out and ship to Washington State for the Vendor, however this was carefully chosen and high preferential. Cost wasn't the concern here, and preferences, especially "pedigree", were my personal interests and preferences. These levels of Vendors can be quite expensive and completely stand by their work (more so, craftsmanship). One thing, for sure, is that Tony Hazel of Heritage Trim & Upholstery completely stands by his work. His warranty is as stated. He's been extremely helpful in sharing his knowledge and experience. Geeze,..we're coming up on almost a complete year from when we started!!! SO: I've spent some time chatting with this fine fellow, being better for it.

Most of the time, you get what you pay for,..and I can gladly say that I've no problem with the necc'y costs associated with achieving the goal. Fine work, indeed.

Again, I've a few pieces to yet see, ...looks like they'll beat Santa here, however!

I asked Tony to return every stitch of the removed items and has certainly obliged! (Extra shipping costs at my indulgence).

As mentioned earlier (with way too many pics), I've a boatload of new parts (compliments of our Sponsor) that will be installed (none of which have anything to do with the upholstery project. Guess I dropped about $6K within that category. I posted pics of that lot earlier, just before packing 'em away...long list of fresh parts.

And (ahem), I still have to get her painted, then re-assembled. Give me 2-3 weeks (maybe?) and I should know more.

It's been a journey, indeed.

BEST!

Doyle
