A friend of mine has a 1980 308. It's slow and the interior looks extremely dated and is made out of lots of cheap plastic parts. Seats are uncomfortable. And it is tiny inside. I can't imagine anyone over 5'10" fitting in it. Even if the maintenance was cheap and simple, there are a lot of cars I would pick over a late model 308.
