I bought my first Mazda in 1983.

I had driven my BMW 2002 for years but it was 11 years old with no a/c...and I was starting Navy flight school in Florida in the summer. Hot and humid at 0500.

So I sold the 2002 and bought a Mazda GLC. The best decision I could have made. I owned it for two years; board, bike and kayak rack on the roof, four doors and all my athletic stuff in the trunk...plus a/c. Not a seconds worth of trouble.

I wanted something cheap and reasonable if I gooned flight school. I of course got a 911 when I sold the GLC. San Diego in the '80's, it was out of my hands.

Edit: Minivans are the best thing that every happened to traveling with kids.
