Yeah, I know. I figured yours was not a converted car, so comparing its weight against a US TR was going to be a little too much apples to oranges. I'd wager that there's more than a few legalized Boxers that have been converted back. And that's the way they all should have been. Adding the crash/safety crap was pointless on any limited production car. If you crashed a Boxer, it wasn't going to be a little love tap in the parking lot. My LP400 had exactly zero crash protection and your feet were not very far from the scene of the crash, should you be so foolish as to wad one up.
