Definitely not. And we've been asked to do this sort of thing, along with being asked to sell people titles to cars that have been scrapped. But the equation isn't as simple as it's being stated. When you take apart a chassis section for section, then set it alongside a donor chassis which has been taken apart in a similar manner, your options for reassembly are many. It all boils down to how much of the original chassis was used to create the final car, and how much the restorer thinks needs to be used to call it genuine. Yes, a simple hacking in of a different chassis stamping is questionable. But what about all of the area in between? - Matt
