huh? Are you possibly confusing this plumbing with other plumbing? I've sedated for a zillion of these things and have never heard of anyone being told that their bum was occluded by some small percentage. I could possibly see some big percentage for an obstruction due to colon cancer but that doesn't fit very well in your story.
