Yikes! No meds? Sorry but these are modern times... if sedation is an option load me up! Better living through chemistry and all that!
As best as I can remember the meds are not that strong, I sort of remember opening my eye and seeing the screen "oh look, they are watching some medical program... oh wait, those are my insides... think I will go back to sleep."
