Who decides what a 50%+ restoration is? Is it by weight?
...hence the "room for interpretation". The fact of the matter is that a car that has had major reconstruction is worth a lot less $$$ regardless of the numbers. How many 7 figure cars have less than 10% of their original metal? More than a few I'll bet. It makes no sense to me.
