Flipper driven market
Sad indeed as I believe it is one of only two summer yellow coupes in NA. The car was a ostensibly a quality example and I think considering the color rarity and based on the pics and history the high twenties (depending on the re build details) was a very fair number. Faverymi is right, it would have been really nice to have seen it passed on to an enthusiast.
Personally I hope the multitude of flippers we have been seeing here and elsewhere will fall by the wayside when the inevitable market slow down and 'correction' happens. Naive maybe but anyone else old enough to remember the Ferrari and Muscle Car bubbles ?
