I know this will suprise no one, but a few years ago I was taking the axel nut off my subaru. The only 1/2 braker bar I had has HF. It broke. My craftsman 3/8ths took it off with no problem.
Controversly my 8$ HF positive clicks at the same point as the 75$ craftsman for lug bolts. Of course I think cf torque wrenches are chinese as well. Though it is of much higher visible quality than the HF one.
