I haven't even glanced at helicopters since I've started flying quads.
My copters are hung up by fishing line in my shop, retired.
I gave these away as Christmas presents, the X1 quad for $30, or the green bladed H1 at a few bucks more. And even as a veteran flyer, I still get a hoot and grins horsing this disposable super cheap toy around the yard doing full wing overs and stalls.

The new DJI phantom quads can carry a gopro no problems.
All depends on how you want to play with your sticks.
Gads kids (big or small) are spoiled today by the super cheap / bang / performance toysa out there.
