I suppose we proved the OP's point...we arrogantly dismissed his claims and went about having out own brand of fun.
My old HP. I resisted for several semesters (of course I was poor and saving money for an HP meant I couldn't drink on weekeknds) thinking I can beat them dudes with their fancy graphincal calculators with a simple TI and my smarts...
What I fool I was...so I realized after I bought the HP. Having the right tool make s abig difference. I use to store phone numbers in this thing...the days before a PDA.
