I didn't know AAA had a "Collector Car Program" until recently. I've been with AAA for 20 years. Last month they found out I had the hot rod, and that it was insured Hagerty, so they cancelled my umbrella policy! I called to complain and they said the umbrella requires all vehicles to be insured through AAA. The umbrella writer told me about the Collector Car Program. Some guy came out to take pictures and collected receipts. A couple days later I was approved. I have a 100% agreed value policy with AAA, with 7,500 annual miles, for less than Hagerty....and my AAA umbrella is still active.
