I got inspired to install my knock off BCR belly pan. It's the fiberglass one from eBay. It's actually a pretty decent product. I had to modify it slightly since I've lowered my foot pegs but that's not a big deal. I'm in the process of painting it now. But, my question is heat shielding; I looked on the microfiche and all it shows is a pad that's under the cat on the rear of the pan. Is that all there is? I can't believe that there isn't more heat shielding where the pipes run down the inside of the pan. Can someone with a real BCR pan check on that for me?
