You can install all the hardware using OEM parts and adapting your wiring harness, but to get the system to function, you need to have a PIWIS system recode the car, and that is where the problem lies as Porsche has instituted a program to prevent dealers from activating aftermarket installs of options (which is cheaper than getting them ordered with the car).
