Trying to piece together my 71 911 and any help would be awesome!
It looks like the original inner fender support bracket (the one that mounts to the battery box L shaped) doesn't actually mount to the headlight bucket like the passenger side (which is [ shaped). So, I am trying to figure out what mounts to the headlight bucket?
After some research it looks like this may only be on 70-71 cars..maybe???
An example pic below of another car from the internet. As you can see the bracket doesn't bolt to the headlight bucket. But I cant clearly see what is bolted to the headlight bucket.
