So what did I pick up yesterday? Trying to find some info on this whale tail. Went to look at it, was told it was from a "Carrera" and was hoping to find a 3.8 RS type tail for my '86. Here's the rest of the tail. Even the pivot hardware for the wing element is pretty slick. Anyone have any info on this?

That sure is an oddball, never seen a 996 tail like it but it sure looks like a variant sometimes seen on 993, the scoops are definitely copies of those seen on 993RS/CS, Cup and RSR
