Yup, I've got major experience with that one. What you need to know? Fender has to come off along with windshield if the repair panel is used, and it means some cutting, welding and paintwork. The worst rust is likely hidden under the windshield gasket. Patch panels are available from

Yours looks like a bad case, there may be some rust along the fender flange as well.
