Things like AWD for a 911 sports car with its torque-splitting differentials, twin turbos and yes, liquid cooling! The 959 was a real test bed on wheels as well as a competitive racing sports car, (did it ever get to race)? It had zillions of dollars in R&D that will never show up on the street cars, either because it's not cost-effective, obsolete or both.
Still, it was an amazing effort by Porsche and its DNA is evident in all 911s since, especially the turbo models.

Which is why I would give an organ to own one. Sadly there aren't any takers on that trade.
