Lived in NC most of my life, and "down east" for a spell too, and have driven through J-ville on several occasions. Saw a doc on TV about the base....I've always heard it pronounced as LeJUNE (like the month), but in the doc it was more like LeZURN (rhyming with "urn"). How do you guys who served pronounce it? The latter is correct (according to my search), but I've just never heard it pronounced that way in more than 50 years
....did I just learn something new?
I figure "my" pronunciation may just be a "southern THANG"
