Thanks for the suggestions. BTW - this forum is invaluable to Porsche newbees! I am going to try the Jweld approach first and then the 'hillbilly' inline fuse next. Then onwards to fix the fog lights, cruise control, front and rear windshiled washers, and hand brake. Loving every minute of it!
