Could Low Compression Test Numbers Indicate Low Compression Ratio?
I have a 2.0 motor with DC60 cams and supposedly 10:1 compression JE pistons which runs smoothly and cleanly but does not put out anywhere near the power I would Have expected. ( 125hp vs expected 145-155hp)
A leakdown test showed approx. 2.5% and compression test 130-135 across all 6 cylinders.
Could this indicate that I do not have anywhere near the compression ratio I think I have?
