Your body does change as you sleep. My wife explained the mechanism/reason when she was in school, but I can't remember what it was. I also occasionally feel the opposite, hot/cold, when I get up from what I felt when I went to bed, but I don't sleep walk. I read an article about sleep walking on the BBC earlier this year. Some people sleep walk, sleep cook and eat, sleep drive and even sleep sex (I think I dated her once ).

Are you feeling stressed lately? Do you think you have a history of nocturnal activity?

Do you have a programmable thermostat that you could set to change the temp at night?
