It was a truly boneheaded move to place the hose clamps inside the passenger cabin. My hoses are still in great shape as far as I know but I have thought about replacing them some day. Removing the dash alone will not give access to the hose clamps without removing the heater also but to remove the heater you would have to remove the hoses. But to remove the hoses I suspect one would have to drop the AC unit. I suspect that dropping the air conditioner located under the passengers side of the dash may be "all that's needed" to get to the clamps without removing the dash or heater unit. It is easy to remove the glove box and passenger kick panel but the AC unit still blocks access to the clamps. Good luck & have fun.
