question: vin numbers and the 1981 911SC
after reading the following post, I was left hanging... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/115561-sc-number-question.html
so in 81 they made a change to the vin numbers according to Simon's Vin page at Simon's Porsche 911 SC Site . From the forum thread above, I was left with the idea that early run cars in 81 had WPOZZZ chassis vins near gas tank with windshield pillar WPOAAO. Anyone have any more info on this?
