I can completely sympathize with you, Rick. I don't get upset over much, but I can't stop thinking of being out west. Thoughout the day, every day. It doesn't help that our house is undergoing renovation even while we're here in the east. I was looking forward to going west for a short work-cation starting in mid-Feb. We cancelled that trip since both of our bathrooms would still be unfinished. Now we have to wait until our May trip to get our next SoCal fix. Thankfully, we'll fit 5 trips between May and December. Retirement is sometime after summer of next year. How long after is
TBD, depending on when we feel comfortable about being fixed-income weenies. I hope it's sooner rather than later. The fewer winters/summers here the better.
