She didn't hate, she was nice and welcoming and friendy even though or because of the fact that she could count the number of her brain cells on one hand.
She was open-minded and mindless at the same time.
She embraced her new friends and did not have the mental capacity to recognize that they meant her harm, right up until the split second they destroyed everything she had and everything she'd ever known.
I hope I never get that naive.
In the movie it happened right away but in real life it happens much slower.
it can be seen coming if one opens one's eyes and pays attention to the facts.
