Oil level question
OK, so I succeeded in my start up on Sunday. Had a couple minor things to address, but took care of them.
My question concerns the oil level or specifically how much oil (capacity) the engine requires. Per the manual I added approximately 5.8 quarts. However, when I checked the oil level it's just slightly above the minimum level. Oil pressure is solid, 5 bar at start up and stays put until the engine warms up some. Fluctuates between 3.5 and 5.
Since I had the car drained for 2 months, I'm curious if the engine requires slightly more oil when filled from zero (to fill the oil filter and cooler). There are no leaks or drips under the car.
