Thanks for the answer Tony,
I've checked, the engine is 911/92. I guess the fact that it is a 74-engine "gives med the right" to order the "2.7 badge" to put on the engine cover. I read somewhere that this badge was gone for the 75 - 77 models.
Anyway, this car has lived in Germany up to 2006 when a German doctor took it to Norway. The engine had a major service in Germany in 2002 and has run 30 K miles since then. The bad working thermal reactors were only a US emission thing ? First California cars from 75 and then all over US for the year 77 ?
