Far from the level of kayaks and post here, but does anyone have experience with super light, ultra portables, foldable type?
I'm planning on touring again this summer by road bike... bicycle that is, and want to explore the occasional streams and lakes, drop a fishing line, smoke a doob in CO... LOL. Definitely staying away from rapids or rocks. Depending on how many are participating, not sure yet but want two kayaks just so no one is solo in the waters.
I do have a lightweight bicycle trailer to pull the camp gear but thinking its best to leave at home. It takes a bit of the two-wheeled experience out of it and prefer minimalistic and the lightest stuff.
Currently use two panniers and a framed hiking backpack fits to a rear rack. The life jacket will double as a pillow and collapsible paddle are the easy part. Ideas??
